Up to now, gasoline-powered lawn tractors are considered the best choice in terms of power and efficiency. With the XZ5 EL107, Cub Cadet adds a robust lawn tractor to its range of electric lawn tractors. Driven by a 56V Li-ion battery with a rated capacity of 60 Ah, the performance is comparable to that of a petrol-powered tractor. Its 107 cm cutting deck is designed to deliver excellent results even on large lawns up to 10,000 m² / hour combined with high maneuverability. At the same time, the XZ5 EL107 has the advantages of battery-powered equipment. It is impressively low in noise level, followed by easy maintenance and zero emissions. The battery enables runtimes of up to 90 minutes (per charge; corresponds to 3.5 acres/resp. aprox. 14.000 m2 under the following conditions: minimal cutting load, using discharge cutting mode and highest cutting position at full speed). Speed control via foot pedal, cruise control and an offset front axle for mowing close to flower bed edges and fences help to ensure precise operation. Moreover, a seat fitted with a high backrest and a comfort grip steering wheel, as well as other numerous accessories, provide convenience during work.
